Dining Speed Dating Event 40+ in Beaconsfield Sat August 29th

I personally have been running singles events for 32 years (including with my old London club) and the best format I have devised is the dining speed dating. We have 8 tables of 6 sitting man, woman, man, woman. Arrival is 6.30pm so nobody is missing when we sit at 7pm. The same food is then served to all the tables which varies depending on which venue we are at. We allow 20 minutes for the first table sitting so the men have a chance to eat something before they start to move with their plates every 10 minutes until they have sat on all the tables. The idea is that this form of speed dating is not so monotonous as having the same conversation on a loop every 3 minutes with an individual sitting across the table from you as is the case with the usual speed dating format without food. It is also so much more relaxing sharing food together whilst having a chat (sometimes involving the whole table).

Tickets £29.50 plus the booking fee from Skiddle.

After the dining speed dating participants can carry on socialising at the bar. There is also the back up of passing messages via us the day after the event if you can remember the first name and maybe the area the person lives. Obviously most people exchange numbers on the night.

We also hold the dining speed dating before our bigger parties with a DJ Max 250 and we will be holding an interactive matching numbers game where we will be giving FREE drinks prizes to each couple who find their match. This is an incentive to get everyone who books to join in with the game and talk to all members of the opposite sex on the evening. It gives you an excuse to chat to anyone who catches your eye.
