Hannah Wicklund
Join us for a very special solo performance by the illustrious Hannah Wicklund. While most of her touring has seen her on stage with a full rock n roll band, this show will be an exploration of her songwriting and storytelling, highlighting the heart and soul within her artistry. Don't miss this intimate, unique experience.
Hannah Wicklund has toured since she was 16 years old, sharing stages with acts like Joan Jett, Marcus King, Deep Purple, and Greta Van Fleet, and has graced the stage at Eric Clapton's Crossroads Festival, among many others around the world since starting her band at age 8. Her last studio record, 'The Prize' earned the honor of being named Rolling Stone Brazil's #1 Rock Album of 2024, leaving much anticipation for her next studio record slated to release in 2026. Hannah's music explores themes of womanhood and of the battle between light and dark that so many of us in this world can relate to. Through her songwriting, top-tier musicianship and a voice that carries equal parts pain and beauty, her energy is palpable and anyone who witnesses her power live is in agreement; she is a force of nature.
Dead Writers
Dead Writers create a feverish vision of rock and roll drenched in literary mystique, gothic charm and poetic fire. Channeling the yearning beauty of the Romantic era through a lens of modern darkness, their sound is a storm of velvet and voltage, where glam-rock spectacle collides with post-punk intensity. The London-based band strike a rare balance between anthemic drama and soul-baring introspection, drawing from influences like The Cure, Queen, Suede, Placebo and Manic Street Preachers. Rich in symbolism, style and substance, their songs explore questions of existence, romance and emotional unrest with vivid poetic imagery and emotional nuance. Their music videos, layered with artistic references, mirror the band's dreamlike and theatrical visual identity.
Led by frontman/songwriter Paul Shine, Dead Writers are building a growing following through magnetic live shows across independent venues and UK festivals, reviewed as 'spellbinding', 'epic' and 'arena-worthy'. Highlights include performing at KOKO Camden for MARVIN Magazine x YUNGBLUD showcase, opening for Pale Waves and Hannah Wicklund, headlining WildFire Festival (Scotland), and reaching the semifinals of the Glastonbury Festival 2024 Pilton Stage competition.
In their early days, Dead Writers captured the attention of Nick Cave with their lockdown cover of his song ‘(Are You) The One That I’ve Been Waiting For?’ – a performance he praised on The Red Hand Files and spotlighted on his YouTube channel Bad Seed TeeVee. Since then, singles like 'Among Spirits', 'Lisa' and 'Meet The Shadow' have earned support from major and independent media, including Classic Rock Magazine (#1 & #4 Track of the Week), Bass Player Magazine, MARVIN, Louder Than War, Planet Rock, ASBO Magazine, Vive Le Rock Magazine and Northern Exposure. Their debut EP was featured ahead of official release on British Airways’ in-flight Rock playlist – alongside artists like Aerosmith and Neil Young.
