SWG3 Presents Bad Boombox

Born in Bulgaria, raised in the USA, and currently based in Berlin – it's been quite a whirlwind life for Bad Boombox, who has established himself as one of the most interesting characters in the current techno landscape. 

His beginnings as a DJ and producer started in 2012, yet his initial mainstream success came during lockdown, via TikTok, where he would create techno memes to help promote his music. This helped give fans a glimpse of the level of eccentricity that has helped propel him to the very forefront of techno today. Going against the stoic norms of the current scene in Berlin, he agglutinates the vibrancy and fun of the early 90s rave scene, with the energy and fast-paced sounds that clubbers across the globe are going wild for.
