Blackfriars presents our new weekly Wednesday comedy night, Just One More Laugh.

The star of BBC's Scot Squad and host of Straight White Whale Podcast, Darren Connell is bringing this weekly showcase of best comedy talent to Glasgows OG Comedy Club.

LINEUP:

Jack Traynor Cumbernauld's powerhouse Jack is meteorically flying up through the comedy ranks, and is part of the Wholesome Prison Blues collective. He’s opened for Daniel Sloss (after a personal invitation), and has a full run booked at the Edinburgh Fringe.

Liam Farrelly 2021 WINNER Frog and Bucket’s World Series Comedy Competition.

Liam Farrelly is a Scottish comedian from Paisley, who started performing stand-up aged 17 whilst still in High School and who immediately went into comedy full-time after graduating.

A meteoric rise through the ranks has seen him nominated for and winning a raft of awards, have a guest acting role on BBC Scotland’s Scot Squad (S4E2, 2018) and perform at the UK’s best and most prestigious comedy clubs, including Glasgows OG Comedy Club Blackfriars Basement, Monkey Barrel, Liverpool’s Hot Water Comedy Club and both the London and Manchester Comedy Stores—all barely a year after first setting foot on a stage.
