We invite you to celebrate the new year in style with Samedia. Following 3 fantastic sold out NYE parties, we bring back the legendary HOGMANAY TROPICAL SOUNDCLASH for more uplifting, conscious, high energy global sounds for the dancefloor.

This year we are delighted to welcome guest DJ Still Dre, co-founder and percussionist of pioneering UK afro-electronic project Afriquoi, brings a celebratory set drawing on Afriquoi's influences, from garage, UK funky and deep house to soca, dancehall and a range of African styles.

And live on the floor we have a very special perfomance by the 20-strong Edinburgh Samba School - a traditional Brazilian style samba drum bateria who perform a set of powerful, classic carnival rhythms to really set the new year on fire!

Our guests are joined by the Samedia residents Astrojazz, Zu Zu Mamou + Mr Z who continue to rock the dancefloor to their unique blend of global club music from Latin America to the Middle East via Africa even after 15 years in the game - in other words - guaranteed good times!

The event runs from 11pm - 5am. Once you arrive and get your wristband, you are free to leave and come back if you wish, before 2.30am.
