About

How to Join At the moment the Centre does not have a membership fee and you can join in most activities by just coming along. Some of the classes, however, are for pre-arranged groups. For most classes you pay as you go, depending on the cost of the activity. There are so many classes that it is best to come along to the Centre and ask for a copy of the annual "News in Brief" publication which outlines the Centre Programme for the year ahead. Many of the Adult Learning classes and Youth Clubs are free of charge, so please ask the reception staff for advice on availability and cost. Opening Hours Monday to Friday, 9.00 am - 10.00 pm Saturday, 9.00 am - 1.00 pm Rooms to Let If you come along, you will see we have a great variety of rooms, including a superb Games Hall which can accommodate most sports. Our ground floor is fully accessible to anyone in a wheelchair. The upper floor is only accessible by the staircase, which consists of two flights of nine steps each. For details of how to hire a room and the charges involved, call reception on 432967 and ask for a letting pack to be sent out to you. Jimmy Gordon I.T. Grampian Lounge This is a large multi purpose area (13.1m x 17.1m) with an excellent wooden dance floor. There is also a stage area within this space, which professional theatre companies have used in the past. A large kitchen with a small wooden hatch leading into the hall is ideal for large functions such as receptions or dinner dances. The lounge is easily accessible for wheelchair use and also has toilets for the disabled. Room 222 and Soft Play Room We have a small hall (11m x 11.6m), which is a multi purpose room with a wooden floor. This room is partitioned off from the coffee bar area (9.5m x 10m), which also has a wooden floor. Together, these rooms can create a wonderful space for small discos or parties. There is a small soft playroom within Room 222, which is ideal for children under 5 years. Games Hall This is a full-sized Games Hall with facilities to hold most sports.
