About

CAMP VAMPS

Formed in the early 90's and bored with the traditional music scene. The Camp Vamps emerged.
Glitter and glam was there theme, and HAIRSPRAY was their favourite film, they began to rock the scene with their irreverent interpretation of old classics.
As they developed their addiction to glitter, so they broadened their musical horizons, these lesbian troubadours quickly absorbed, ROCK, DISCO, DANCE, PUNK and OPERA.
Today The Camp Vamps woo their audiences with their energetic performances and amazing array of styles, costume and wigs.
Catch them live and you will know you have been Camp Vamped!!

David Hoyle is an English performance artist, avant-garde cabaret artist, singer, actor, comedian and film director. His performances combine disparate elements, from satirical comedy to painting, surrealism and striptease, much of which is aggressive comedy in nature. Hoyle's work has often focused on themes in the LGBTQ community, attacking what he sees as dominant trends in "bourgeois Britain and the materialistic-hedonistic gay scene".

Dusty Grooves - Ann Harley aka Dusty Grooves has built up a firm following at her Thursday nights residency at Sandinos. Her fusion of soul/funk/electronic classics and her love of everything camp has endeared to gay and straight audiences alike. You will leave her set uplifted and joyous. A hot yet supercool end to our evening!
