Vona Vella

Vona Vella is a Nottingham-based five-piece band that was started by former indie-pop duo Dan Cunningham and Izzy Davis. Signed to Peter Doherty's Strap Originals, they recorded their self-titled debut album (2023) and new single 'Over and 'Over' (2025) at The Libertines' Albion Rooms studio in Margate. The new single sees the band's harmonious and wistful indie-pop DNA bolstered by a confident, thrilling propulsion, to form a contemporary sound both gossamer delicate and fiercely robust. Vona Vella are championed by the likes of BBC6 Music and Radio 1 and have supported not only The Libertines and solo Pete but Tim Burgess, Morcheeba, Hak Baker and Reverend and the Makers. With more new music and tour dates to come, life for the Nottingham indie scene's starlets is about to get a lot louder.

Silkrats

Born in the heart of Nottingham's live scene, Silkrats fuse the swagger of '70s anthemic rock with the angst and edge of '90s alternative. Their sound is raw yet melodic With thunderous riffs, soaring hooks, and unfiltered emotion, they deliver a sound that's timeless, gritty, and built for big stages.

Drawing inspiration from the likes of Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, and Pearl Jam. Silkrats channel the timeless energy of rock's golden age through a modern, hard-bitten lens. Their songs burn with emotion - stories of struggle, escape, and resilience wrapped in roaring guitars and unshakable hooks.

Formed out of a shared love for the power and honesty of rock music, Silkrats have quickly built a reputation for high-octane live shows that turn every crowd into part of the performance.
