Review of Summer Gathering Festival 2017: Forest Zoo
It's tiny! Thought the festival would be much bigger! The line up was great just massivly disappointed with it turning into a silent disco at 11pm when you are next to a race track with motorbikes riding round all day and airoplanes flying over all the time so don't see why there would be a noise curfew. How many people were there, no more than 3000, correct me if I'm wrong

Review of Download Festival 2017
Amazing weekend, me and my friend had upgraded to the 'Ready To Rock' package which paid off so well as we didn't have to worry about putting a tent up when we got there and take it down when we left, the camp wasn't too noisy at night apart from the planes going overhead very low, we also had toilets and showers on site which were well cleaned and maintained. The acts were all brilliant, we went mainly for System of a Down, Five Finger Death Punch, In Flames, Prophets of Rage, Issues, Brutai and many others and not one failed to impress, we even caught a few that we didn't expect to make time for such as Coheed and Cambria and AFI who again were brilliant. One of the best parts of the weekend by far was the WWE NXT stage where we didn't miss a single showing.

Bit of a trek to the village, campsites and arena but all in all the bands were fantastic the atmosphere was second to none.
1st time ever and loved it! my only regret is not being there all the years before. Will deffo be coming back every year from now on :)
Great music and atmosphere. Food and drinks very expensive
Not one band let me down from the headliners to the little gems I've never seen before everyone gave it their max.
Review of Summer Gathering Festival 2016
Normally i really enjoy Summer Gathering but on this occasion the setting was amazing but the organisation on the day was very poor as there was no information about event or artist set times available before the event. And as for the silence rave situation OMDZ sort it out you go to a festival to listen to quality music all night but actually your forced to cut your night short because the event organisers could not be *****d to secure a late event licence and NO im not paying again to continue my night and be listen through headphones. WTF JOKERS it was bad enough the year before but at least the loud music finish at 4am. Im absolutely gutted that this years Summer Gathering was a let down and i will be investing next years funds into a different event. Sorry but its to avoid more disappointment.

Best time ever!
Lovely people and quality music. Tents were good and forest stages were incredible
Only downside was music was cut off to silent disco at half 11 at night! :(

The set up in the woods was amazeballs. Not too sure about the mix of music genres but on the whole the atmosphere was electric.
The venue was good expected more for what it was.. Funfair- WHAT FAIR!! There was 1 ride!!? The tokens you could use instead cash were advertised for food, drinks and merchandise but we were only able to buy drinks.. we were told that straighteners and charger points were there for use.. they were nowhere near where we'd need them and were not told they were charged.. would have been nice to be told. The fact that the mc's and dj's stopped at 11PM was rediculous! The only option we had was the silent party in the woods with headphones... and you had to pay for the headphones?! We didnt so we had nothing else to do after 11PM. The event was falsely advertised as 4am finish!!? We paid VIP and got the same treatment as standard campers they also had showers and had access to our 'VIP bar' and the 'secret forest' locations
Also unsure why happy hardcore was mixed with Drum and Bass, Summer Gathering is based on drum and bass but yet there was more option for happy hardcore. 3 tents 1 of which was DnB, 3 'secret forests' 1 of which was DnB... we spent most of the weekend confused about the whole venue... apart from that the music, MCs and DJs were on point.. just a shame it was so minimal and cut short
Took forever to get in but everything else was ace
Sick event, although it was small it had great atmosphere with cool setup
3 days of getting boxed
Review of Download Festival 2016
Totally awesome event drink food pricing and staff were great food lovely and a fantastic vibe with people really taking care and time to be nice to each other.
Needed more hay or something to deal with all the mud in the village were traders took the piss with prices.
Thursday Friday £10 sun cream £5 towels £15 wellies
Saturday Sunday £4 sun cream £10-£15 towels £25 wellies total piss takers
Awesome event, brilliant music. Even the rain and mud didnt dampen the atmosphere. Just a shame there was nowhere to sit down during the day, only and handful of benches outside one of the drink vendors stand. Definately need to bring your own fold up arm chairs!
Music was immense as always, weather was wet as always! Haha.
Still a good festival, but sadly the company now running it have cut corners everywhere this year including hiring in different security firms containing large numbers of bored, unenthusiastic, unfriendly/rude personnel.
On the whole, the Download family remained strong though and it was still an awesome weekend!
Gatecrasher 20th Derby
apart from drinks being a total rip off and security lined up everywhere watching the night was a cracker
Gatecrasher 20th Birthday
No cues, venue was class, dj's and tunes were class, prices were a complete rip off £5 for a can and £10 for parking when it stated that it was £5 online, crowd was good with a few dodgey nutters but that's to be expected, room 2 was quite cool, overall good night.
