The ‘Slim Scotland Centre of Excellence’ will combine an intensive fitness programme with top-class nutritional advice with the objective of improving the health and lifestyle of the local community. Officially opening on Friday 12th of October at 7.30pm, the centre at Dundyvan Industrial Estate will feature a whole host of indoor activities specifically intended for those wanting to boost their fitness regime or weight loss plan. Combining traditional circuit training with fun team-based activities such as dodge ball ensures that whatever the level of fitness, there will be something for everyone at the sports centre. With no membership fees, the Slim Scotland Centre of Excellence is designed to be accessible enough for the whole community to enjoy excellent quality sport¬ing activities without being tied in to expensive fees. As part of the ongoing Slim Scotland campaign to eradicate obesity, all classes at the not-for-profit centre will be free of charge.
