Unstoppable DJ Battle, Scratch Comp, Scratch Jam and After Party

Huw Wackman (UK 2023 DMC UK Champion) and Scratch Cafe (Bristol’s Turntablist Community) presents Unstoppable DJ Battle, Scratch Competition, Scratch Jam & Turntablism After Party. Come watch the UK’s best DJs battle it out for a £4,500 prize pool and then witness performances from UK and World Champion DJs (JFB, Switch, Woody, DeeJay Random, Loop Skywalker) in the official after party.

What to expect?

• Take part in a freestyle scratch jam, open to all combo ticket holders, with DJ Tutors on hand to support. All skill levels welcome and encouraged!

• Take part in a freestyle scratch competition, open to all ticket holders (up to a maximum of 24 competitors). Competitors will go head to head in a knockout style competition until someone is crowned the winner by the judges. Sign ups for this will go live in August. We will notify all ticket holders!

• An invite-only professional DJ battle called Unstoppable. The first of its kind. 8 competitors (a mix of existing UK/World champions and aspiring champions will go head to head in a winner stays on style battle. DJ Rasp, Tommy P-Nuts, Revrt, Dan The Hat, Goldsmith, Chmielix, Scratch Master Slider are all confirmed competitors)

• Performances from UK and World Champion DJs (JFB, Switch, Woody, DeeJay Random, Loop Skywalker), as well as local Scratch Cafe residents (Jimi Needles and Mr. Big Mouth) 

• Every ticket holder will get 1 months free access to the Temple of Turntablism's online DJ school, where they can learn to scratch & beat juggle

PRIZES!

We have a total prize pool of circa £4,500 from sponsors such as Technics, Phase DJ, Reloop, Algoriddim, UDG, Minirigs, Decksaver, Sureshot, Undosequences, Cut and Paste Records and Woodwurk. These prizes will go to the 1st and 2nd place positions in each competition!
