"The Guy Who Didn't Like Musicals" was originally produced by StarKid Productions, with Music and Lyrics by Jeff Blim, and Book by Nick and Matt Lang. The story follows Paul, an average guy living in the small town of Hatchetfield, who detests musicals. His ordinary life is disrupted when a mysterious meteor crashes into the local "Starlight Theatre", unleashing a bizarre alien force that begins turning the townspeople into singing, dancing musical-loving zombies - essentially infecting them like a musical-themed hive mind. As the infection spreads, Paul is forced into a reluctant hero role, joining a group of uninfected survivors trying to escape the town. But as the lines between reality and musical madness blur, Paul must confront his own resistance to change - and decide whether it's possible to stop the ever-growing musical horror.
