SEA LIFE Brighton is the world's oldest operating aquarium, built in 1872 and set in original Victorian architecture. Based opposite the pier in Brighton, it brings 150 years of history into a building that is a huge part of Brighton's history.
The aquarium features 5,500 creatures, including rays, sharks, turtles, terrapins, star fish, seahorses and an anaconda. It is described as a fun, interactive and educational experience for the whole family.
You can also see creatures from Sussex waters and beyond, from the curious and the rescued to the rare and the enigmatic.
