We’reclosing the season the best way we know how — with a room full of laughter, down in The Pub. For our final Rockwater Comedy night of the season, the space once again becomes a cosy, dimly lit comedy club: low lighting, great drinks, and a lineup designed to start the weekend early. 

Arrive from 7pm to get comfortable. Bar snacks will be circulating in The Pub, or book a table in the Bar & Kitchen beforehand and ease into the evening. 

From 7.30pm, the lights dim and the laughs begin. 

Leading the night is local legend Ben Robson, co-creator and MC of the triple Chortle Award-winning GOAT Comedy show. Expect sharp hosting, quick wit, and the kind of easy energy that sets the tone from the very first laugh. 

Also on the bill: Joe Foster. Brighton-based with a dry, razor-sharp delivery and an effortlessly likeable presence, Joe is the winner of Fosters South Coast Comedian of the Year 2015 — and a firm favourite on the UK circuit for good reason. 

Headlining our final show of the season is Matt Richardson. Multi-award-winning and endlessly engaging, Matt has been a standout since his teens — a finalist in So You Think You’re Funny and the Chortle Student Comedy Award, now a familiar face across TV and radio, from Never Mind the Buzzcocks and Celebrity Juice to hosting drive-time on Virgin Radio. Expect polished stand-up, big laughs, and a set that lands just right.
