About

The Doodlecats are ridiculously excited to present Bants In Your Pants, a new night that promises all the inclusivity, safe space and joyful, topless (optional) silliness of PIYP but with the volume turned down and a focus on collective activities that encourage sitting down and chatting for as long as it takes to, say, make a silly hat, colour a poster, build a lego house or doodle a human. There will be no extras to pay for, your ticket includes everything but your beverages, plus, we'll send you home before midnight!

As always, we have recyclable Spoons tickets available for people living with unpredictable health (and yes, that includes mental health) and free PA passes. We don't demand evidence, just let us know on judidoodlecat@gmail.com

The venue, like many in Brighton, is spread over 3 floors: a basement room, where we'll bodydoodle and play blacklight games (down 2 flights of stairs) and the toilets  (up two flights) from the ground floor. To anyone who won't find it accessible, we're sorry. The ground floor (bar area and where most of the activities will be) is accessible though & we'll do whatever we can to assist. Again, just email us!

Bravo for reading this far. We are trying to build something that can strengthen our marginalised communities and allies, and be enjoyable without denying reality, so please be aware that talking about some bad things that are happening here and elsewhere in the world, always with a view to finding solutions, will occur. But remember, like PIYP, we are all here in good faith, this isn't Facebook, TikTok or Insta. It's a safe space.
