New Love, Alternative Dating Night - 24th April

New Love is a dating night for those interested in exploring alternative ideas around love, dating and relationships.

The beautiful little dating thing that I started in 2017 has blossomed into a big beautiful monthly event,regularly selling out, hosting upwards of 100 guests a pop and hosting some amazing performances, workshops and activities.

We couldn't be more excited to be back in 2024, with the same energy, enthusiasm and love with some exciting new additions.

This month we will be at the spacious Ironworks Studios in central Brighton, this venue has a large wide open space and we plan on making the most of it. There is something special about New Love in the Spring and we want you to see it for yourself.

Over the last 7 years we have helped people find love, se*, connections, friendships, long term partnership, community and joy. We even have an engagement or two under our belts. In 2024 I will be officially attending the first New Love wedding in my very best hat.

You can expect fun, flirting, cuddling, consent, body art, crafting and just generally a big old love fest.

Focusing on the key aspects of successful dating; fun, flirting, creativity, humour, touch and shared interests.

New Love is open to people of any se*uality and gender who are;

*Anyone who is doing the work on themselves and wants to find a partner(s) who are also actively doing the work (therapy, self care etc)

...AND anyone who may feel uncomfortable, unsafe or uninterested in dating via conventional means.

We are LGBQT+ friendly and accessible and willing to be told if we are messing up in these areas.

The first hour will include optional ice breakers and games for those who (like me) need a little help in that area. The purpose of these ice breakers is to get talking to a few people to help you feel more 'at home' throughout the night. We don't match people up based on se*uality or gender so see this more as a chance to make a few friends and build up your confidence so you can talk to who you're really interested in later on in the evening.

New Love is NOT a seggs party, there is no seggs of any kind but we are seggs positive and believe seggs CAN be an important part of adult relationships, we believe in seggs and pleasure education and therefore SOMETIMES have activities that are seggsy adjacent. Things like, getting experts to come in and do workshops or Q+As about everything from Tantra to K1nk, seggs toy demos from erot1c boudoirs and burlesque...you might see bewbs! This is very far from ALL we do but it needs to be said that its a possibility. If you look on the event pages and social media pages in the run up to each event you can find out more about what is happening at each individual event. If you think things like this would make you uncomfortable we understand it's not for you!

Ironworks Studios is situated in a residential area so please be respectful and keep noise to a minimum when leaving the premises.
Smoking in small groups is permitted outside the Blackman Street exit until 11.30pm but no drinks to be taken outside.
