Our MC Ash Frith is joined by headliner Paul Thorne, with supporting comics Michael Legge, and Thenjiwe.
Paul Thorne can regularly be seen headlining the UK’s biggest and best comedy clubs. His well crafted material, spontaneous wit, and surreal comedy songs have earned him a reputation as a quality live performer both at home and as far afield as Canada, Australia, Dubai, Hong Kong, Thailand, Singapore, China, and Japan. Comedy festival appearances include Edinburgh, Melbourne, Adelaide, Newcastle, Leicester and Bath as well as two critically acclaimed tours of fringe festivals across the length of Canada including Toronto, Edmonton and Vancouver.
Ash Frith began performing stand-up in 2011 and has since established himself as a regular presence on the UK comedy scene, appearing alongside many well-known and highly respected acts. He was chosen to support established names including Russell Kane and Terry Alderton on theatre tours. That year also saw him earn middle-act spots at prominent clubs such as the Frog and Bucket in Manchester and Comedy Central in Liverpool. He has alo supported Jason Manford on tour.
Michael Legge is a legend of the comedy circuit, a seasoned headliner and multi award winning comedian. From being a presenter on MTV to performing stand up for Comedy Central Stewart lee’s Alternative Comedy Experience, Michael has also been a regular voice on the radio popping up on BBC Radio 4 & 6 and absolute radio where he co-hosted The Dave Gorman Show in 2012. Michael has also performed an incredible 11 Edinburgh Shows with his most recent show ‘Idiot’ being available on ITVX courtesy OF Next Up Comedy. His awards include the Sony Award and a BAFTA nomination and he has performed across the globe.
Thenjiew is a South African-born, UK-based stand-up comedian, actor, and content creator celebrated for her sharp wit, unapologetic humour, and hilarious African storytelling. A former lawyer turned comedian, Thenjiwe has performed on major stages across Africa, Europe, and the UK — including the Hackney Empire and the Durban Playhouse. With her bold perspective and global following, she bridges cultures and delivers laughter that connects audiences worldwide.
Doors open at 7pm, giving you plenty of time to grab some drinks before the shows start at 8pm. Don't forget, happy hour is from 7pm until 7:30pm. We end at 10:30pm and close at 11pm.
