After the energy of the parade and the arena winds down, Canvas' venue transforms into a late-night house music experience soundtracked by the uplifting energy, feel-good grooves and inclusive dancefloor spirit House of the South has become known for across Bournemouth and the South Coast.

Rooted in house, techno and trance culture, House of the South is built around creating welcoming spaces where people can dance, connect and lose themselves in the music - "one night, one love, one dancefloor."

This isn't Pride as a marketing exercise. It's a community-first event raising money for two vital LGBTQ+ mental health and support charities: Space Youth Project and MindOut.

House of the South presents special guest DJ: Dave Hunt

Dave Hunt is a local DJ playing uplifting, funky, vocal house music. Dave has been DJing on the local scene now for over a decade. Locally, he has played for events such as 2GETHER, Vice Versa and Bolts. He has also played further afield, including: Beyond, Recon and A:M (all in London); Eagle, Church, (Z)onderbroek and Funhouse (all in Amsterdam); Revelation (Brussels); Aftershock (Manchester); After Ma Soeur (Paris); Incognito (Romania)! Now - once again - Dave is bringing his music back to Bournemouth and will be joining House of South as a special guest for House of Pride on 11 July.

Space Youth Project - supporting LGBTQ+ young people across Dorset through youth groups, support services and safe spaces.

MindOut - a mental health service run by and for LGBTQ+ people, providing support, advocacy and wellbeing services.
