Avon Heath Country Park is great for families and is very accessible for all abilities and interests. The park is Dorset County Council's hidden treasure in the east of Dorset and it received a Green Flag Award in 2016. It boasts 580 acres of internationally important heathland and is home to unique and rare wildlife. Enjoy a visit by exploring one of the miles of way marked tracks, Heathland Discovery Centre, Café and play area or simply have a picnic.
