Having finally dried out from the torrential downpour at the end of the 2023 Great North Run, I'm setting my goals for 2024 and doubling down by joining in, on a 4 Day, 320 Mile Cycle Challenge from Scotland, through Northern Ireland, Ireland, Wales and England, as well as taking part in the Great North Run once again and improving on last years time.

I'm hoping to support this effort with a few events and other physical challenges across 2024.

I first found out about the Carers Centre two years ago after being invited to The Business Breakfast networking group which hires the centre's facilities for their meetings on a weekly basis. Having joined the networking group and attending the meetings I've learnt a lot about the Carers Centre, the dedicated team that work and volunteer there and the wonderful support they offer to unpaid carers of all ages in the Blackpool area.

Times are tough at the moment which means support for Charity is more vital than ever and any donation no matter how small is greatly appreciated and it goes to a fantastic and truly deserving cause.
