Creeper visit Blackpool for an unmissable night at Bootleg Social this April, bringing their distinctive blend of dark theatrical punk and grandiose rock storytelling. Fresh from the momentum of their most career-defining era yet, the band step back into the spotlight following the success of Sanguivore, the record that propelled them to their biggest headline performance at London’s OVO Wembley Arena.
Their upcoming album, Sanguivore II: Mistress of Death, releasing this Halloween, dives even deeper into the vivid narrative world Creeper have created. The story follows a British rock band navigating the chaos and decadence of an American tour set against the backdrop of 1980s Satanic Panic, with a mysterious trail of dead fans and a merciless hunter the Mistress of Death closing in.
The band’s latest single, “Prey For The Night,” showcases everything fans love about Creeper: brooding darkwave synths, William von Ghould’s commanding baritone, soaring ’80s rock riffs, a bombastic Steinmanesque chorus, and theatrical interplay with Hannah Greenwood complete with a blazing saxophone break. Even the title hides a devilishly playful double meaning.
Known for pushing their ambition further with every release, Creeper continue to captivate both loyal devotees and new listeners. With sold-out shows, major festival appearances, and a devoted cult following, their Bootleg Social performance promises to be an intimate yet dramatic showcase of a band at their most powerful. Expect atmosphere, storytelling, spectacle and a night that lingers long after the final note
