Rogue Country Presents: Grey DeLisle

Grey DeLisle is a Grammy - winning singer/ songwriter who is known as the most prolific voice actress in American animation history, having performed over 1500 cartoon voices since 1996. Her double LP, The Grey Album, via Hummin'bird Records, is 20 vignettes of love gone wrong, tales of being a divorcee with small children, homages to her Mexican heritage, all wrapped up in wonderful, authentic Country music.

Grey's most iconic roles include "Vicky" from "The Fairly Odd Parents," 'Samantha "Sam" Manson' from "Danny Phantom," 'Mandy' from "The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy," 'Frankie Foster," 'Dutchess' and 'Goo' from "Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends," 'Yumi Yoshimura' from "Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi," 'Azula' from "Avatar: The Last Airbender," 'Kimiko Tohomiko' from "Xiaolin Showsown," as well as 'Lola,' 'Lana' and 'Lily Loud' from the "Loud House" and 'Prince Puppycorn' from "Unikitty!." She's also been the voice of 'Daphne Blake' in "Scooby-Doo" cartoons since 2000.

Born in London and raised in the US, Katy Hurt was drawn to the sounds of Country, Americana and Classic Rock from a young age, inspired by artists such as Sheryl Crow, Bonnie Raitt, The Eagles, and Patsy Cline. 

Katy Hurt’s work ethic and authenticity are apparent in each of her songs and are evidenced by her rigorous touring schedule and accolades. In 2018 she opened for Liam Gallagher at the Pilton Party and 2019 saw Katy and her band perform over 150 shows across two sold out headline tours, as well as international dates in Canada, the US and the Caribbean where she performed alongside Sonia Leigh on the Melissa Etheridge cruise and opened for the Bellamy Brothers at their first UK show in over a decade. 

Katy’s self-released debut studio EP “Unfinished Business”, which produced the Top 20 hit singles “Revved Up” and “Unfinished Business” was given 5 star reviews across the board.

Katy performed at LA NAMM in Jan 2020, representing brands such as Tanglewood, Yamaha & G7th Capos and flew from Winnipeg to LA and back to continue work on her debut album.

Katy's creative journey also took her to Canada, a place she now calls her second home, where she wrote and recorded a wave of new material. Among them were “Sounds Good In A Bar” and “Wish I Could Give You Up,” both of which soared to Number 1 on the UK iTunes charts. These tracks gained international traction, earning radio play on CBC, SiriusXM, KIX Australia, and a spot on Amazon Music playlists.

Produced by Juno Award-winner Murray Pulver (Doc Walker, The Bros. Landreth), the songs form part of Katy’s long-awaited and widely praised debut album “Gimme A Break” which was released on May 23rd.
