Tim Blackburn who records under the name Mistrust will be headlining the Future Showcase event at Future Yard in Argyle Street, Birkenhead on Sunday 19th of November, 2023.
Mistrust will be performing his brand new single at Future Yard, along with songs from his latest album 'Sunlight'.
If you're into early 80s-inspired electronic pop music, or a fan of bands like OMD, Pet Shop Boys, and New Order, you'll love Mistrust's songs! Mistrust has audiences singing and clapping along at all of his gigs. He has recently performed live at the Glaston-BURY festival, with Lord of the Strings, Aziz Ibrahim.
Mistrust says: 'The Future Showcase at Future Yard will be the first time that I will be playing songs from my latest album 'Sunlight' in Wirral. The album was inspired by the historic village of Port Sunlight, so it's a sort of homecoming for the album'.

About Mistrust:
Mistrust is a singer/songwriter from Bolton, who writes and records electronic music pop songs. He only started playing live in 2023 and has recently performed at HMV stores in the North West and the Glaston-BURY music festival.
Mistrust's songs are unshamedly influenced by early 80s synth pop bands such as The Human League, Pet Shop Boys, and local Wirral band OMD.
