The founders of Lost Recordings, Rafiki and Draize are with us for an extended b2b set delivering what they are known for, Deep, Dark and minimal. A very special set as Rafiki is coming back into the fold side by side after taking some time out from music. The boys are Bedford and Hertfordshire based, who’ve played Light Box, The Castle, Hidden, Brixton Jam, Hackney Socials, The Colosseum and The Wire, Leeds to name just a few!
Rafiki & Draize founded Lost Recordings in 2014. Their goal was to discover artists who found it hard to get their music any further than their hardrives! Over last 10 years they’ve released music from highly respected artists such as Dot, Telomic, MPathy and LNO, aswell as releasing music from other artists on Lost Recordings, they’ve also released music on Flexout Audio, Delta 9, Modular Carnage and of course, Lost Recordings
Blu is a Drum and Bass DJ whom developed a deep passion for DNB after moving to London in 2016. Born in the Bahamas, and brought up in Louisiana, Blu quickly immersed herself in the London DNB scene, recently returning from touring India. Her style can be described as underground - deep, moody, and funky.
LNO is a DJ and Ptoducer from Bedfordshire. Championing that minimal rolling sound, with releases to his name on labels such as Lost Recordings, Skank and Bass, 4 Corners and most recently his charting single on The Mob Recordings.
DJ sets in Croatia, Germany, Ireland, as well as across the UK under his belt, LNO is becoming a name in demand, with several club and festival shows in the books already. Expects dark dubs left right and centre!
Tom Henry AKA Nu-Lo is a south-coast based producer and selector. As a Co-founder of Delirium Sessions - Nu-Lo has been honing his craft for nearly a decade. His music is inspired from Trip Hop to funk. With releases on Rebel Music, Locked Up and One More Thing. His sound is steeped in the underground.
Expect rolling snappy drums, 808 inspired basslines and brooding atmospherics.
Lukas who’s Hertfordshire based, has from the early Years as a kid, always had a vast love of and for music.
Abstrakt Vision is a Dj and Producer, establishing himself as an Underground Artist, pushing his sound, pursuing a unique sonic to his music since he began producing in 2014. A decade later you will find his releases on labels such as, Delta9 Recordings, Modular Carnage, Dub Wars and Lost Recordings.
Abstrakt Vision, Lukas, is also a Mgr within Lost Recording, also supporting artists such as Imanu, III Truth, Mark Diminal, Fearful and Invadhertz.
So, expect bassy, dark and gritty, always with a hint of his grass roots!
Slippy Skills, Basedw in London and known for his versatile style and impressive discography, with releases on top Drum and Bass labels such as Dispatch, The Mob, Lost Recordings and Rebel Music.
In 2021, he dropped his highly anticipated debut Hip Hop album ‘Multiple Mind States’ on Runt Life Records, in 2022 with ‘Motivational Speech,’ a collaboration with LU3 Beatz that further highlighted his range across different genres like DnB, Hip Hop, Grime and Drill. His latest album with Sicilian producer Akme ‘Death Spazio Randagio’ dropped last October - with launch parties in Rome, London and Sicily.
Slippy has recently got in the top 3 on the Beatport charts for his most recent release on The Mob Recordings alongside LNO, which has received huge support from the likes of Chase & Status and Noisia.
Slippy Skills is also the founder of @fullclipmagazine a thriving hip hop/dnb platform/event/radioshow that takes place regularly in London showcasing the best of hip hop, grime and rap artists/MCs.
He has previously hosted for some of the biggest names in the DnB scene, including Fabio, Jumpin Jack Frost, Nicky Blackmarket, A.M.C, Aphrodite, Bryan Gee, Voltage, Philth, Ed:it, Universal Project, Kyrist to name a few.
Bazil MC is a name that has risen to prominence amongst his peers. As a London based MC he is appearing at events all over the capital. He stands out in a crowd of extremely talented mic artists. He first caught peoples eyes and ears as a member of the London based DNB collective, Kinross. His first foray into the scene saw him feature as the vocalist and co-writer on the well received LSB X Kinross track "Roots". Releases quickly followed on serious label imprints including Fokuz, Celsius, Onyx, Sine, Intrigue, Footnotes and Vandal Records to name a few!
So people, be ready for a full on night of days gone by London derelict warehouse clubbing experience here in Bedford! Where you don’t just hear the tunage you, feel it.
