The What 3 Words location is: ///motive.lakeside.grounded

Anyone aged 14-17 MUST be accompanied by a responsible adult (age 25 or above) and anyone aged 13 or under MUST be accompanied by a responsible adult (age 18 or above).

NON-CAMPING DAY VISITORS: The main gate will open at 4.30pm on the Friday and 12 noon on both the Saturday and Sunday.  The event will finish at approximately 11.00pm every evening with the main gates closing at 11.30pm.

CAMPING VISITORS: Penrith campsite access is from 10am on Friday 23rd August 2024 until 2pm on Monday 26th August 2023.  There will be an early arrival option on Thursday, where you can choose to arrive and pitch up on Thursday 22nd August between 2pm and 10pm, but please don’t arrive before this time as the site will not be open and you’ll be unable to wait and queue on the road outside for safety reasons.  New for 2024, the Arena will be open on the Thursday evening for a welcome party for the Thursday early arrivals between 6pm and 11pm with Main Stage performances, bars, caterers and fairground rides.  This early Thursday arrival option is an additional ticket per person, but is included free of charge with all Super Early Bird and Early Bird tickets purchased.

There will be a variety of stalls, face painting, craft stalls and more, on site, throughout each festival, plus children’s and adult funfair rides at the Penrith and Sunderland festivals. Children can stay until the end of the music each day but must be accompanied by a ticket-holding adult age 21+.

Wannasee Festivals are all about superb entertainment with the very best live music there is, and the perfect way to enjoy a live music stadium experience, in a family-friendly festival atmosphere at sensible value for money prices.

With the finest tributes to the world’s greatest artists, from the 50’s to the present day, we can guarantee you’ll be singing along to non-stop classics, all day. Like a jukebox of your life, it’s all killer and no filler!

With great views of the stage from all areas of each festival site and, with plenty of room for those who prefer to sit, rather than stand, you are welcome to bring in blankets and folding chairs, if you choose.

Their famous Penrith Festival is now in it’s 9th year over a full 3 day Bank Holiday Weekend, Friday to Sunday, and their one-day spectacular Hertfordshire Festival is back for a 4th year!

Other one day Wannasee Festivals will be announced soon!

Experience a festival to remember, for all ages. Entertainment, stalls, rides, food & drink and live music, that you really Wanna See!

On first entry each day, you are allowed to bring in one sealed and previously unopened plastic bottle of soft drink or water, maximum 500ml per person. Other than that, a small personal picnic (pull along trollies containing large amounts of food are not permitted) may also be fetched into the festival upon first arrival only, but glass and metal utensils and cool boxes are not allowed, for safety reasons. Takeaways cannot be brought in or delivered to the music site. An empty, refillable drinks bottle, to use at the free drinking water station inside the festival, is also permitted.

Please note, all other drinks must be purchased from the licensed bar, which will have a large variety of alcohol and soft drinks, with very competitive prices. There will also be a wide range of food stalls, again at very favourable prices. Wannasee want you to have a great time without emptying your wallet!

Wannasee Penrith is dog friendly, and all they ask is that they are kept on a lead, at all times. Please respect others and clean up, (dog mess bins will be on site) whilst also looking after your dog’s own welfare and removing them from areas of loud music if they show any signs of distress.

Yes, you can. When you enter the festival for the first time, they will scan your ticket and provide you with a wristband to wear for the duration of the festival. Simply show your wristband to leave and re-enter the festival whenever you like, up until the final re-admission, just before the final headline artist of the night. First admission must be before 8pm on any evening.

Yes, you can. They do provide plenty of tables and chairs around the bar and food area, but cannot guarantee availability to everyone. If you would like to sit throughout the festival, then you are more than welcome to bring your own folding chairs or blankets. Please note, for your safety, the area close to the barrier in front of the stage will be kept clear of seating, as this is where people stand close together, near the front.
