Hour and half late starting,no beer at all,ran out of cider and white wine within an hour
No drinking water available (but we were told by bag searchers there would be plenty,as they made us tip away our own water in a clear unopened plastic bottle)  
Drinking water finally put out in large plastic canister,on a table in the bright sun... what a shambles

Review of London Ska and Reggae Festival

Parking was a bit pricey, along with the admin fees! 
There were definitely some technical sound issues. This was not detected during the Dualers performance, which I assume was due to the use of tracks. 
Technical problems certainly affected both Aswad and Maxi Priest. Sound quality just wasn't there. Aswad held it together. Drummie cannot be replaced, however, his son Solomon delivered the vibes.
Maxi Priest ....despite the obvious sound issues he DELIVERED. His voice carried the show. I have been to several of his concerts and he never fails. His voice, style and professionalism is always outstanding.

Sadly this was a poorly managed day.  Advertised as starting at 4pm, no music till 90 mins later, and when the music did start the sound quality was dire. Bar had no water no beer, and was trying to charge £240 for a bottle of Jack Daniels. The ques were 30mons plus.  Irony is at the que to enter the  event at the search station, we had 2 sealed bottles of water  and they made us poor it on the floor before we could get in, in a heat wave 30 plus degrees, only to enter a place that couldn't sell you water. The Jamaican food stall was banging and not too badly priced. They had only one fairground ride but thank God it was there as it was playing better reggae tunes actually the only tunes for the first hour and a half. I wasnt with good company we would have left in the 1st hour, saying that we didnt stay till the end. Also not a lot of toilets available although there were toilets most of the were turned around backwards for the next day event that was set up massive around this tiny event. We only paid £22 per tick*t but I was a let down.

we arrived at 4pm ready for the start and they were still setting up the bar and doing sound checks no music started until 5.45 SKA and Mash kept trying to play but were told to stop. the bar only had cider no lager or ice, then at 7pm they run out of cider still no lager so only rum or vodka c**ktails terrible. the toilets people kept asking for paper and them to be cleaned by the end they were a disaster. i went last year and it was fantastic i took 6 guests this year and it was a disaster.

When you get there and straight away they've got no beer and cider air can that be? The prices of the drinks was out of this world a bottle of Jack Daniels £215. And five quid for the smallest can of C**e in the world that sand system was crap was not good quality.

It was lovely performances but it's a shame the venue did not do checks of equipment early to ensure all was in working order. It was two hours late starting and some people left because of that and for them also to have run out of water on such a hot day was not good.

Lovely weather and nice location but sound wasn't good for the live performances. It was great when they played old reggae tracks we all know and love but sadly the sound of live performances was very poor.

They had only 1 tent open
Holding back drink for rhe next day 
Water had run out on stand and no water at the bar
Music there was sound issues and acts were late on very late 

I enjoyed the food and weather

Fantastic drinks a bit expensive but great venue
