Travel to/from Liverpool International Music Festival

Liverpool International Music Festival is held at Sefton Park and City Centre, Liverpool.

Every year, LIMF welcomes more visitors from all over the UK and beyond!

Here’s how you can find us:

By Air

Liverpool’s John Lennon airport is a 15 minute drive from Sefton Park where LIMF Summer Jam takes place. For our city centre activity, it will take approx. 25 minutes in car from Liverpool John Lennon. You can find more detailed information about their flight timetables here.

There’s no parking around Sefton Park so we’d urge you not to drive in. Instead, why not get to us:

By Train

St Michael’s train station is nearest to Sefton Park where LIMF Summer Jam takes place. You’ll find detailed travel information at merseytravel.gov.uk.

Liverpool Lime Street is the next best option for Summer Jam. It’s a 20 minute drive to Sefton Park or a very long walk! You can find out more about arrivals and departures at Lime Street here.

Check out train timetables with Merseytravel here and Merseyrail here.

For our city centre events, Lime Street station or Liverpool Central are the best train stations. You’ll find detailed travel information at merseytravel.gov.uk.

If you’re coming from close by, why not download or request a copy of Liverpool’s cycle map, which shows the nearest cycle parking to the park. See liverpool.gov.uk for more details. If travelling by train or ferry, bikes go free and are welcome on both. Not got a bike? Then why not take advantage of the City Bike hire facility where you can sign up, collect and drop off a bike at any one of the on-street stations. It’s self-service, so no booking is needed – just turn up and go. See citybikeliverpool.co.uk for more details. Please remember though, if you are travelling by bike to wear bright clothing and use bike lights if you are heading home after dark.
