Review of Madness presents House of Common 2017
Brilliant venue fantastic musicians
Would you recommended: Yes
Madness were awesome but I felt the build up could have been better, it was a nice day and weather was great but could have had atleast one more good build up band on before hand.
I must admit I didn't expect the day to be as good as it was..fantastic atmosphere..plenty of refreshments available (albeit a touch pricey)..very well put together..hopefully they do it again next year
It was brilliant!
Great venue.. Great acts apart from 1 that really didnt fit in
Great day out with great acts, great music and a very friendly environment.the only criticism I have and it's a very minor one was that the music in the ram jam tent was quiet I suspect maybe that this was due to close proximity to the main stage, there is nothing like having your body move with loud heavy bass😐

Loved the event. It was a warm , sunny day, on Clapham Common. A happy, friendly crowd, up for a good time. The acts were brilliant. They knew how to entertain the crowd. Madness were amazing, musically and entertaining. Sugs was funny and charming. Craig Charles blew the crowd away, with his musical selection and DJing skills. Soul to Soul and De La Soul were both brilliant. They both interacted with the crowd so well. Organisation top notch. Excellent toilet facilities. Tight, low-key security, lots of food and drinks venues. Definitely going next year. Thank you Madness / House of Commons. Loved it!
Incredible. No other words to describe it.
Had a brilliant day! Would definitely go again.
Great event, Madness and guests were brilliant

Great venue ..madness should stick to old stuff ..It's what we know and love ..atmosphere goes so flat when they perform mew stuff !!
All acts pretty good
All things considered, my 2 kids and I had a cracking time.
Fantastic line up and great day out only real gripe is the price and choice of drinks £5 for a tin of beer and £6.50 for a can of jack & c**e is taking the piss!!
Too much pot smoking
Brilliant day, enhanced by great weather. Toots and the Maytals were the reason for our booking, but the rest of the line up was really great too. Toots did not fail us! We are not Madness fans but stayed for a few numbers. Next time can we please have Toots as the headline act.🙏🏼
Our group really enjoyed the event, however some issues:
Drinks were expensive and the menu displayed was NOT what was available. Even though the last day get all the same booze in. No pimms or rum??? Also perhaps another Ale bus as the queue was endless
Food stalls expensive for portions
Closing Clapham was fine but more signs need to Clapham north and south.
Fab from when Toots was on and madness! The other bands not so great also the intrem music was better from that time
Pretty much what was advertised and expected. Some of the information on the event's website was confusing, and the line-up provided rather late.
Overall, a good afternoon / evening out.
The food stall we used was poor - in the quality of the food and definitely the attitude of the staff.
Where was the real beer - a ridiculously long queue for the one small outlet.
Toots and then Madness were excellent.
Great, thank you
