Review of Fix Radio presents FixFest

One of the best festivals I have been to in an age!!
From the get-go, a welcome at the gate from the organiser, followed immediately by being swamped with freebies galore from Trade store stools!!  Not bad for a first five minutes, Hey!!
The atmosphere was far more relaxed than many festivals I have been too, a real 'family' vibe as not only all the family welcome but all were of the  'family' being Trade!!  All like minded, chilled and ready to relax and have fun..
The food stalls were well varied in selection and really good prices - fair money for good food and all well
Prepared by friendly workers.
As for the line-up for entertainment...
Well.  The weather was awful yet the crowd remained due to the quality of the entertainment scheduled..
Truly amazing and very well managed with friendly and switched on security staff too - already said, family event and very little concern or real issue of anything for security to deal with anyway..
As a middle aged man, I was drawn by Scouting for Girls and Toploader and my daughter came with her boyfriend for them AND Dizzee Rascal (He IS such a Rascal!) ...
Can I just add, the fireworks at the end.. by far the best and loudest display I have seen in probably thirty years!!
A great day, Thank you Fix Radio - we were there from opening to Closing and endured all the bad weather purely because it was a great event!!
We will be back!!

We thought the VIP area was a long way from the stage. When we came to an event here before, there was a sectioned area in front of the stage for VIPs. Also the food sellers were a long way from the VIP area and there was no coffee, tea etc available in the VIP area. So a trek in the rain yesterday to get these. But brilliant line up and event. Thanks ð
