Disabled Access Information
The disabled access facilities are for the use of disabled customers wishing to attend the events. The festival cannot cater to people with broken bones, healing wounds or women who are pregnant. There are other ways and means of attending the event if you are temporarily impaired but please be aware that the facilities available for disabled customers are strictly regulated for its specific use.
Any ticket holder aged 13 years and over may apply for the 2-for-1 PA/Carer ticket providing the carer attending with them is 18 years or over. Leeds Festival hope that this will enable many more disabled teens to attend.
Please note that for any application for disabled access or a 2-for-1 ticket you must provide the festival organisers with sufficient medical documentation to support your application and to validate your request. They ask for this so that they can gauge the numbers who are wishing to attend and so that the facilities that we provide are used by the people they are intended for.
Ideally, for supportive material for validation of your request, the festival accepts DLA entitlements clearly stating the levels of mobility and care awarded, hospital or doctor letters giving a brief description on your situation and/or other medical documentation pertaining to your disability. They never need to see any financial information in relation to anything you provide to us in support of your disabled access application.
Some of the facilities provided:
Disabled Customer Check-in service
Information tent with helpful staff and volunteers from Attitude is Everything
Viewing platform and viewing areas
Accessible toilets and showers located in the campsite and throughout the event
Easy access routes into the arena
The festival is hoping to introduce more interpreted performances at some of their other events
