Armand has been shaping dance music for decades, &#8203;&#8203;moving effortlessly between house, garage, hip house, and electro. From iconic tracks like 'You Don't Know Me', 'I Want Your Soul' and 'My My My', his career built on instinct and exploration continues to influence the electronic music scene.
This is set to be one of the biggest electronic music events in Bristol this summer.

Review of Document Presents: Armand Van Helden, Redlight, Sarah Story ++

Advertising this  as an armand van helden gig was an absolute joke. Upon being forced to arrive before 9pm by the organisers we found out that he wasn't even on until 2am and only performing for one hour. An overcrowded, vomit smelling,  sweaty mess of an evening. This is honestly the worst venue I have ever visited.

The venue felt so over sold and everyone I went with felt the same, the supporting acts played minimal house with the same beats for the entire time considering Armand is a disco house artist I thought the music shouldâve been more catered to to that vibe even just a few songs of the sets, the set before him was not able to hype the crowd or excite like it should have. Amrand coming on at 2AM and this not being disclosed before entering the event was unfair considering it says on Skiddle last entry was at 9pm but they let people in until 11 so we had to wait 5 hours for him. I just think it was unfair and not worth the money or time. Iâve been to document many times before and always enjoyed myself this one really put me off. A lot of people had done too much and were in bad states throwing up and on the floor and I felt security was awful with helping and looking out for those who needed help. The crowd felt intense as we all had to wait 5 hours for armand and I left early in his set as I was so tired and felt it was not worth waiting through so did a lot of other people so big crowds were leaving very early. 

Armand didnt come on till very late, kind of disappointing because it was only marketed as his event, only in the small font was it about the other events, they were good events though..

Everyone wanted to see Van Halden and that is what we brought tickets for but he didnt come on until 2am which was far too late.  Lots of people left before then.  He should have come on earlier.  latest 1am.  Everyone had to be in club by 9pm so had to wait 5 hours to see him. people were quite disgruntled about this but knew there was nothing they could do but accept it.  And the set between midnigt and 2am was poor so it was a tedious wait.  i will think twice before buying tickets again if the artist is not gonna come on at a reasonable time.
