Biography

Tony Njoku is a British electronic music producer and singer-songwriter from London. His self-penned

and produced songs have been described as 'strikingly evocative soundscapes, managing to make even

the shortest pop songs sound like epic adventures.'

In June 2016, he self-released his illustrious debut album 'In Greyscale’, written and recorded over a

period he spent between Norway, Nigeria and the UK. The lead single opening with a juxtaposition of

tribal beats and haunting piano before descending down a rabbit hole of brutal electronic drones.

The release gained quite some momentum, leading to several features and airplay as well as an array of live shows; including his performance at Green Man Festival’s main stage that August. His performance was considered a highlight of the festival by many viewers including festival director, Fiona Stewart, and Huw Stephens (BBC Radio 1).
