1. The rising is an alternative rock band fronted by michael lee (aka Michael Johns), dropped from Maverick Records before their unreleased debut album "future unknown" (2004) hit the stores.

2. The Rising are a 4 piece band from Blackburn who have just released their debut album called 'Past Midnight'. Playing the main stage for the 2nd time, The Rising have gone from strength to strength. 3. The Rising were a York-based band formed in 2000, comprising Paul Banks (of Shed Seven), David McKellar (of The 88's), Maxi (of Audioweb) and Stuart Fletcher (of The Seahorses). With seven core musicians plus occasional guests, the energy and attention to detail is all you would expect from the Boss himself, whatever the venue, from the smallest intimate club gig to the largest town hall.
