Spectres are a band from Bristol, with a fine line in brooding, wall-of-noise pop that shimmers and crescendos into fuzzy soundscapes filled with atmosphere and melody. In 2012, they won Artrocker magazine's unsigned act of the year, while Drowned in Sound recently wrote that "if guitars are supposed to be dead, it's probably because Spectres have killed them. Not for the fainthearted but essential all the same."
