A Coventry Born & Bred Artist, songwriter & Musician. Precha Got his entry into the game when he and a couple of friends formed the group C.O.V. Who at the time were mentored by former 57th dynasty artist Oshin Da Nomad.They began to do shows in and around the Coventry area, where they found critical acclaim. But it was the introduction to Cipher Jewels(MD7) that gave C.O.V. a boost in credibility, as at the time ‘Moorish Delta 7′ was already an established team, known not only around the UK , but Europe and the US. They took the young fledglings under their wing and began recording with them , featured with them on tracks, and brought them on tour as a part of the ‘Underworld Family’. In 2004 C.O.V. released their E.p ‘Welcome 2 Our City’ which they recorded a video for there first single ’4 My City’ which indeed did help highlight the careers of these rappers from COVENTRY that nobody knew that well. With the video ’4 MY CITY getting played on MTV And other different outlets opportunities began arising . Precha was approached by super producer at the time Baby J and was asked if he wanted to be involved in his own solo project/ Album with all the production by Baby J .Precha was asked prior by another producer but declined believing it wasn’t the right time , but the Baby J opportunity he never missed & recorded his first solo album ‘HOLY GHOST’ in 2004 in just an Outstanding 3weeks !!! Off that album Precha shot 2 videos which were ‘STANDING BY THE WINDOW’ & ‘HEAVEN’. Prechas turning point finally arrived when he was asked by BABY J to produce 8bars for the ‘Valerie’ Remix . Mark Ronson heard this remix and he was asked to join him on tour sharing the stage with artist like ‘Daniel Merriweather’ ‘Corrine Bailey Rae’ ‘Alex Greenwald’ ‘Wale’ & ‘ryhmefest’ . And when the Remix was put on the Official ‘Valerie’ Single by Mark Ronson a definite feeling of achievement was established. After the tour Precha started a university course to help achieve a degree in ‘Youth & Community Development’ but was differed when asked by ‘Mark Ronson to join him on the ‘Jay-Z’ ‘Mark Ronson tour in 2008. With supporting artist Kanye West & Wiley. After the tour precha took time out because of commitments to his family. And has been quiet until 2011 with his return back to the game with his Mix-tape ‘The best of Precha vol1′ .Precha’s familiar flow and powerful deliveries surely sets this artist up there as one of the UK’s veterans ……Watch this space
