The members of London Serenata played together for over twenty years as the wind section of Garsington Opera Orchestra. In 2019 they emerged from the orchestra pit as a concert ensemble, branching out into new repertoire, and sharing their music making with a wider audience. The ensemble has performed at the Wormsley Estate in the Chilterns, as well as for Stamford Arts Centre, the concert series "Music in Adderbury", and at the Holywell Music Room in Oxford.

London Serenata now forms the nucleus of the Gascoigne Orchestra at Grange Park Opera, where they will be accompanying Bryn Terfel, Joseph Calleja and a galaxy of opera stars during the Summer of this year.
