Mick Marshall, known to most as DJ M-Zone, is a name written deep into the history of UK club culture. From the early days of Ritzy and the Nags Head to packed arenas across Europe, Mick’s journey has spanned every corner of dance music — from house and hip-house to techno, soul, and funk.
Mentored by Patrick De Myre of Technotronic fame and later collaborating with Carl Cox under the group Coda on the legendary F.A.C.T. album, Mick learned the art of production from the ground up. Now retired from the constant circuit, he’s gone back to his roots — returning to the pure energy and emotion of classic clubland, inspired by the synth-pop and electronic sounds that first lit the spark.
Today, his focus is on creating and producing new electronic music and building his latest passion: Day Clubbing Events — daytime parties that capture the old vibe, but built for the new era.
