Ben took up djin 1999 after being massively influenced by the Oldskool / Rave scene while spending week in week out at the legendary life@bowlers in Manchester, from the first moment he stepped foot in there in 1996 he was hooked on the Piano house sound. 1999 also saw Ben become the promoter / owner and resident DJ of what was later to become the longest running northern oldskool event of its kind at that time ( Good Times ) which ran for 14 years holding and co hosting over 200 events in its time .

Ive been an avid vinyl collector of piano house & oldskool since about 1999 ( and still very much am to this very day! ) Im always searching for them elusive tracks from back in the day you had on a tape or the ones you just never hear anymore, and not forgetting the undiscovered gems that others djs just dont seem to play, as its these kind of tracks I feature in my live dj sets & mixes making them that bit different from the rest out there . . . .as im anything but an anthem dj.

I can play many different genres of oldskool, these include Classic UK oldskool house / UK break beat piano / Rare Italian house & piano anthems / Uk & euro piano house then the more modern but heavily oldskool influenced Nu rave and hardcore break beat sounds.

Ben has had residency’s with many different events over the years and has featured as a guest DJ at nearly all of the old skool events around the north of England in his time on the oldskool scene
