he Digital Commandos live hard dance act was born in late 2004 for a college project and before long were booked to appear at the Back to the Future Hogmanay party later that year at The Carling Academy appearing alongside established artists.

Since then the Digital Commandos have appeared at major events/venues across Scotland for promoters such as Back to the Future, Fantazia, Rezerection, Judgement Day performing at venues such as Braehead, O2 academy(4times).

The debut Digital Commandos EP entitled "The Digital Revolution EP" was signed to freeform`s number 1 label Nu Energy Collective and was the first EP to be released by Nu Energy on a digital format and subsequently was featured in Mixmag`s review section.

The tail end of 2008 saw the DC`s follow up EP "Dancefloor Warfare"once again released on the massive Nu Energy label, featuring once again 3 tracks of the bands own brand of high energy dance music.

2009 has saw the Digital Commandos receiving regular airplay on Clyde 1`s massive GB Experience saturday night dance show and in Dec 2009 Digital Commandos took to the Clyde 1 turntables for an exclusive guest mix on the GB Experience bringing freeform into the homes of Scotland at saturday night peak time on a commercial dance show.
