Biography

Damian Wilson is a very talented singer in the progressive rock genre. He was the lead singer for both Threshold and Landmarq and also recorded four solo albums. He performed on many Ayreon-albums and toured with Arjen Lucassen's project Star One. He played the lead role of Jean Valjean in the Les Miserables UK National Tour and recently did a European tour with Arjen Lucassen's Stream of Passion.

* Recorded four solo albums Cosmas, Disciple, Live in Rehearsal and Lets Start a Commune.

* Disciple; accompanied by the City of Sheffield Youth Orchestra includes John Lennon's last song; Grow Old With Me which was recorded at Abbey Road Studios in London, filmed and broadcast by the BBC.

* Wrote and performed music with Guy Fletcher (Dire Straits) for the Films "Sergeant Pepper" and "Spirit Trap"

* Played the lead role of Jean Valjean in the Les Miserables UK National Tour 1998-2000.

* Toured with Rick Wakeman's English Rock Ensemble playing shows in South America, Russia, Europe and Asia; recording a studio album, DVD and a number of live show releases.

* Toured Europe with Arjen Anthony Lucassen’s Project - Star One after appearing on many of his albums.

* Toured Europe as support for Arjen Anthony Lucassen's band Stream of Passion.

* Recorded and toured with the rock bands Threshold, Landmarq, Jeronimo Road and La Salle playing in Europe, Russia and America.

* Fronted Praying Mantis and The Jones Gang; with Phil Manzanera and Boz Burrell.

* Guested on albums for the artists Gary Hughes, Aina, Shadow Keep, Wicked Sensation, Aryeon, Shadow Land, Misha Calvin, After Forever and Mostly Autumn.

* Voted "Best Vocalist" six times at the Classic Rock Society UK Annual Awards.

* Ronnie James Dio is quoted as saying in an interview for an Argentinean magazine, "Damian has one of the most versatile voices in rock with an incredible range".
