Born in Peckham, South East London, Some of her first audiences were school friends that were wowed by her musical abilities, vocal range and confidence. As she progressed her audiences changed and her collaboration with DJ NG on her hit track 'Tell Me' propelled Katy into the club scenes of London and the UK which eventually made the play list for commercial radio stations such as Kiss 100.
