This time I took two friends who are rave virgins and it was the best night we have ever had!! Security was good, not too over crowded just fab! Good atmos but hated Magna as a venue. Too strung out between rooms and freezing in the Kid Kaos one too. Having been sick twice and worrying about if I would be able to drive home left early and missed loads. Personally wouldnt do Magna again as drive was just too far on my tod but would recommend for anyone into the music. :( | ||||||||||||||

But it was far from ok, as everyone has said the bar situation was a nightmare and the walk from the toilets or vip was far too long.. The promoter should have made sure there were a lot more bars in there too.. And I had to pay £45 for the vip as my friends bought those tickets but it really should have been kitted out more but i suspect this charge subsidised the costly overheads? Overall main room and artists were decent, although sound at the back was lacking, but this is a venue that should have been given a miss really... | ||||||||||||||

thines2 Offline Points:54 Posts: 1 | Swedish house mafia Magna Sheffield Overall rating: The show was totally awesome, the production like nothing ive ever experienced, fire, the best laser show ive ever seen, foam, confetti and great visuals, would definately recommend going to see them, however if your a drinker which i'm not the queues for the bar were pretty insane, there was a small kiosk selling non alcoholic drinks and food which wasnt so busy. | ||||||||||||||

 sian.pillay Offline Points:250 Posts: 10 | SHM Magna Overall rating: Swedish house mafia were aweesomee as always ,really really enjoyed Max Vangeli too! the lighting and effects were unbelievably good , well done on them guys! everybody there seemed to be having an absolutely cracking timee. The thing that let it down was the venues organisation , two bars in the whole place? come on there was thousands of people there , you was queuing that long you was sober again before you got served they were soooo understaffed, and three pound for a bottle of water was kind of pricey. Good job SHM were soo amazing too make up for it, but overall an unforgetable night ! | ||||||||||||||

 mellors27 Offline Points:168 Posts: 4 | Venue crap. Overall rating: What can you say about the music beside from awesome. SHM were amazing as always, Lazers were spot on just like been in ibiza. Atmosphere was ok. The venue on the other hand all do the place is massive, 40 mins to fight and a drink at the only bar in the main arena come on man open a few bottle bars or something what a joke. When your there buying bottles of water they had to open them for you and throw away the cap why health and safety they said mmmm Dodgy. Also haing to walk about 15 mins all the back round to go for a piss and going for a cig one place in the full club about 15 min walk from the main arena wont be going back there. | ||||||||||||||

Not being a fan of huge venues, i wasnt expecting this to be to my taste however, the Swedish House Mafia made the event seem as intimate as they come! As DJs they come highly recommened and a must for anyone in Ibiza this summer as i think Pacha is the perfect location for them. As for the venue, its ideal for those looking for that stadium atmosphere, unfortunatly there were alot of idiots in there looking for fights but you expect nothing more from Sheffield. The main down side to the night is that there is one tiny bar serving thousands of people...do not expect a drink while you are in there!!! As for buying your tickets here on skiddle... with their ticketless entry system, its recommended by me! All in all a great night with minor draw backs. | ||||||||||||||

Personally I thought there might have been too many people there (I know in an ideal word everyone should be able to enjoy it) but they were understaffed and unable to cope with the numbers. However, the music made up for it. The other acts were fantastic, and SHM as always did not disappoint. If it wasn't for the amazing tunes and show, the night would have been a let down though. I'd just reccomend going normal next time because on other events it has been a good venue to host such an event. Overall definitley recommend for any SHM or infact house music lovers, just don't go VIP and expect to queue a verrrrry long time! | ||||||||||||||

The que to get in, even in the vip which was non-existant, was 30 minutes. The bar ques were literally 40 minutes long and the alcohol selection was rubbish. The venue was dirty, overcrowded and the sound system was poor. Overall its not a music venue so it shouldnt try to be one. | ||||||||||||||

Massive, absolutly huge, the lasers, specical effects, and the acts were superb. so much choice of music. not bad price either, moderatly expensive ticket but bar prices near enough pub prices !! the venue topped it tho, just spectacular would reccomend to every1 carnt wait to go back !! | ||||||||||||||
