Join us to bring in the New Year at The Rooftop at Luciano's. Live music from After-Midnight & DJ Mike Hall and Dave Robson from well-known local band After Midnight will be taking time off from their Classic Clapton UK Tour to perform a rare acoustic set of 60’s 70’s covers including Beatles, Eagles, Clapton. (www.after-midnight.org.uk) After Midnight has a huge following on Tyneside. Mike Hall is the guitar vocalist front-man of the band. It has been said that he not only looks like Eric Clapton, he sings and plays guitar like him too! Bass player Dave Robson was originally a member of the band during the 1990’s. He re-joined last year. He is also a talented keyboards player and song-writer and he is a former member of north east chart band Geordie. In fact he was with them at the time Brian Johnson left to join AC DC. It is very rare for After Midnight to perform at local venues these days. At The Rooftop Bar Mike & Dave will perform music by The Eagles, The Beatles, REM, Crowded House and a number of 60’s and 70’s classics. They will even include at least one of Dave’s original compositions. Venue information The Rooftop Bar is a stylish new venue situated above the restaurant. It features two bars across two levels and has recently been refurbished to an extremely high standard. Since it’s recent opening it now hosts some of the best live music acts the region has to offer.
