Something of a holy land for workers in this part of town, Jerusalem is a spacious subterranean bar with lots of spirit & a laid-back attitude that’s suggested by its industrial furnishings: vents on the ceilings, timbers aplenty, deep red walls, & a lengthy bar with chalked-up menus hanging above it. Food flits between burgers, sharing platters & larger plates of jerk chicken or lamb skewers, while a dozen bottled beers, inexpensive wines & classic cocktails keep the post-5pm crew more than happy. Outdoor space for smokers & sun-seekers, too.
