An area should of been sectioned off with a secure place large enough for him to perform on! After waiting for over 3 hours in a fairly dead club (middle floor) we were in quite a good position near front for when he came on, or so we thought, then all the drunken girls came pushing and elbowing their way to the front.. you'd of thought the Beatles were about to perform! It was quite scary, as you couldn't move as everyone pushing from either side! When Olly did eventually get on, bless him, he looked petrified and i don't blame him he only sang a few songs and for his own safety was taken off. It was great to see him, but i think the Club could of made a higher/larger platform for him to perform on with some barriers around and everyone would of enjoyed it more! Even as he was being taken off, some of the girls are pushing to get at him, it's just crazy... get a grip girls... what do you really think it will achieve? Feel for Olly if that is what he has to put up with! | ||||||||||||||

Regardless of the fact that JE might have let cube down i thought it was pretty obvious from the start they werent gonna come as the stage wasnt barriered off ther were no mics set on the stage or nothin. Some bouncer told me the agent rang saying they wanted more money as the slot cube had expected was bigger than they had discussed and cube refused. This was at the end of the night but the bouncer said the call came much earlier. A rumour circulated the club that he was to perform on the top floor stage, but this did not come from a member of staff I'd like to point out.
When Olly did come on, on the middle floor (and larger floor) there was pandemonium. I can only imagine this is what it was like when Elvis performed with girls feinting and flying at the lad, trying to touch him.
He performed four songs on the clubs large back stage, before leaving to do his meet and greet.
The majority of girls in the building went bezerk when he went on, and had to be restrained. The decision not to use barriers in front of the stage is probably the only thing that prevented a crush in the end...as the girls all swarmed forward.
Overall everybody seemed to enjoy it, and the decision to only allow the club to get half full was wise in the end, as if there was the full 1500 in there when Olly went on it would of been dangerous.
