Sy Lyon's Review of WBTH Presents ARKoustic at Gregson, Lancaster

What can I say...The event was a definite success, which made all the hard work worth while. The Gregson was almost full with a diverse demographic of people who were treated to some great performances throughout the evening. The show featured a lot of original material some of which had never made it past the confines of someones front room! Martin Brotheridge our Musical Director put in a mammoth effort playing literally, ALL DAY! It was they very first public appearance for Leon and John Cherry both of which beat the nervous demons and put in solid debut performances. Local beat boxer Jacks last minute addition to the bill proved to be a great decision. He brought the house down and worked the audience like a true entertainer. The night was finished of with newly formed The Band who got people off their seats dancing and played with real groove to conclude the show perfectly. A big thanks to all the performers for their hard work and hours of practice, to Trevor for the use of the PA, everyone who was involved with putting on the event and all the people who came down to show their support for the night and help raise money for Shelter.
