Great night!  Some fab acts (Aurora Galore - wow!) and brilliant host, drinks weren't overpriced as feared and really nice cupcakes on sale. Looking forward to the next one :)

Chilled Out

What a night!
Friendly welcome, gleeful Burlesque atmosphere and helpful bar staff struggling to chill in record temperatures. 

Dita Von Teese tribute a joy.  Loved the compere, the magician, the monkey....couldn't fault it.

Autumn Grand Burlesque ball

We enjoyed our first Burlesque Ball. We can highley recommend it to other people. We thought the whole evening was a great success, except We thought that the bar was under stocked and ran out of wine.

Winter Valentines Burlesque Ball

We had such a brilliant night out, the venue, atmosphere, costumes and acts were first class. My first experience of Burlesque, I shall certainly come back for more! Too few opportunities to get dressed up in blingy vintage costume and re-live the glamour of a 50's nightclub. Hilarious and equisite in turns. The girls were stunning, and the vintage car was a lovely touch. More please!

The bar was a disappointment however, no ****tails! Drinks were very expernsive and we were served out of plastic cups. 

Winter Ball

A great night had by all and a pleasure to be involved in. Great to see live entertainment from across Europe to be brought into a venue like the Edwardian Ashton  Hall and to recreate the atmosphere of the 1950's Hollywood night clubs.

We saw vintage American outside, amazing JazzSwing dancers on the stage, incredible acts  and a party after the show that didn't stop 

A great first night in Lancaster!! I just wanted to thank all those who made it a sell out her eon Skiddle
 

Neil created a blast from the past night, he had obviously spent a great deal of time arranging the acts, there wasn't a duff one, which is unusual in an event that lasted all night.I was with Anthony Padgett's group, so obviously in good company, and a grate time was had by all.My headline act would have been the girl with butter in her stage name, sorry I can't remember your name if you are reading this but I was distracted at the time by the sheer beauty of her dance, every minute detail of her moves were acted with the love of dance and the magic of theater and tradition (fan dance),she was worth the entrance fee alone, and thats coming from a self confessed tight wad!
Thanks again Neil, Anthony, Stephany and obviously miss Butterthingy.  

Burlesque Ball

What a truly fabulous night out.  Great compere.  First rate performances with the most beautiful ladies and costumes to ever grace a stage.  Brilliant music.  Everyone had a seat. Atmosphere buzzing.  Loved all the effort people put into their vintage costumes.  Venue perfect.  

Were in a party of fifteen and though we were seated around the room, everyone migrated and intermixed.  A really friendly scene and the dancing (and the amount of eager dancers) was the perfect finale!

Just one complaint.  The beautiful lady in the blue sailer dress should have won the Miss Winter Ball competition.  She was a stunner and from where we were sitting she got the loudest cheers.  That aside, everything else was faultless.

Well done to Neil and his staff for an amazing event.  Hurry back!

Winter Valentine's Burlesque Ball 

Loved it! I will definitely be attending next year - best night out I've had in ages! Admission was so reasonably priced, however the drinks were exxxxpppeeennnsive!

well i thought the dancers were fabulous and the location which is a lovely old hall was an excellent choice and most appropriate for the lovely art deco style costumes.
i also thought the dj was great and given the amount of people dancing after the performances ended i clearly wasnt alone in my opinion.  
It was nice to be at an event where the audience had made such an effort to dress up. i'll definitely be attending the next one in november.

We enjoyed the event,the dancers were brilliant,the singer excellent,the Swingeroo Sisters very good and the hoola hoop girl was  amazing.The organisation and the fact everyone had a seat was good and the usherettes kept it organised.
But the compere was grim,the lighting and sound levels were lacklustre and the lack of any effort to create some kind of production value and staging meant that the performers could have stood a better chance in a car park. As for the DJ, where do these characters come from.
