A Magical Evening With Julie Felix At The Farncombe Cavern
Overall rating: 5

Julie Felix was really magical, yesterday evening, at The Farncombe Cavern. I thoroughly enjoyed seeing her there for the second time. She sang a lot of old favourite songs such as "Blowing in The Wind" and "The Universal Soldier", as some Edith Piaf songs.

Hatful of Rain at Farncombe Cavern

A great performance by hatful of rain.

Unfortunately the event was very poorly attended (only eight of us!), possibly as this is not a regular 'folk' venue and it was a cold and wet evening. Despite the small turnout the band gave a polished and warm performance with many original numbers.I would heartily recommend seeing this band and look forward to purchasing their CD at the end of May.

Incidentaly, the Cavern is a terrific venue and very convenient for the station

Derrin Nauendorf gig, on Friday, 30th March at Farncombe Cavern, Farncombe, near Godalming, Surrey.
Overall rating: 5

Derrin Nauendorf was really very awesome, at The Farncombe Cavern, last Friday night. I really enjoyed seeing him play and I love his songs.

He sang his famous 'hit' song 'Shipwrecked'. I just loved his version of 'Wild Horses'.

The Farncombe Cavern is a very high class, intimate, music venue. It's a very friendly and they only put on artists that are of a very high standard, so you can always be sure of a great evening out. The audiences there are very attentive to the music. They actually stop chatting when the music starts...which is quite something!

Jazz at The Farncombe Cavern with Gareth Lockrane
Overall rating: 5

The Farncombe Cavern is a very high class, small, but beautiful, live music venue. It has a very friendly atmosphere and I really enjoy going there. It is very easy to get to, being only 5 minutes walk from Farncombe Railway Station. There are frequent trains in the evening, especially, down the line from Waterloo to Portsmouth Harbour. I live in Haslemere, but can be home in half an hour, if I time it right!
Listening to Flautist Gareth Lockrane with the Marianne Windham Trio was really quite a magical experience. In my opinion they are all world class artists.

Great night of music | Pete Christie @ The Farncombe Cavern
Overall rating: 5

With such a great sound engineer like Stuart McAlpinein, a warm and inviting purpose built music venue like Farncombe Cavern, on a cold rainy night, what could be better than hearing some amazing original music, played by such an accomplished singer songwriter like Pete Christie, who gives it his all. The Farncombe Cavern is a really attractive music venue, run by musician drummer, music enthusiast and thoroughly lovely bloke, Andy Moore. A great night of music, new friends, some familiar faces and good fun!
