Cab Vol used to be the best club in Edinburgh, the music was great on the regular week nights and there was usually always top DJs playing every Friday or Saturday. The drinks were cheap and it was free entry.
Now that it has been taken over the music is dreadful, there are rarely any top performers, the drinks are an absolute rip off and you have to pay to get in.
Sigma played a not bad set Last night for the first hour, after that it was just as awful as the other DJ's that were there, which is a shame really because when Sigma played at Bassface at Potterow it was outstanding.

I'm pretty certain I wont go back to Cab Vol now, it's just not what it used to be, not even close.

It was great to finally meet them in person! They are very talented and hopefully they return soon with the whole band!
Mars Patrol was outstanding also, it was a great start to the night, and a great ending with Cherry Suede.
We had an amazing night.

Cherry Suede Up Close and Personal Tour, Edinburgh

We had a fabulous time last night. The guys were awesome and so friendly, as were their supporting act The Mars Patrol. We're hoping they manage to come back with their full bands, 'cause we'll be there! Venue maybe slightly too small, as a lot of people had to stand, but still a great night which we won't forget. Cherry Suede and The Mars Patrol rock!

i'd recommend it because of the price (every other time i've spent £18 and above for a ticket)
didn't like the atmosphere though and I got attacked by some random girl! don't think i'd want to go to this venue again :(

What a let down.
Would have thought our 'selector' would have at least played a few newer tunes.

Low point was the crowd signing to ****ney Thug, like it was an Oasis gig.
