Accidentally forgot to book the usual tipi!! Pleasantly surprised (and delighted) with the bell tents would definitely book one again next year. Glad to see the luxury camping was back in the top field

Review of Wickerman Festival

Wickerman presents an eclectic mix of music and entertainment to suit all ages and many musical tastes. It is low key and friendly in beautiful surroundings. The campsite is a comfortable distance from the arena and is always full of happy people who are only their for fun. For some reason even when the weather is not so good it still isn't the miserable quagmire offered by other festivals. I'm tempted to say the sun always shines but I don't want to risk a jinx for next year.

Worst wickerman yet, everything seemed to be done on the cheap, . Toilet were a disgrace, caravan pitches were too small. Staff were very disrespectful, stall set up had been changed for the worse.took my granddaughter for the first time, wont take her again if i go back myself.

The Friday and Saturday performers on the main stage were great. Squeeze, Jimmy Cliff and Nenah Cherry were super. For my "older" group we were disappointed in the Saturday night headliner but it was obviously popular with the younger festival goers. Some sound malfunction issues when Squeeze were performing but their professionalism overcame this with a short acoustic set. Friendly stewards. The fireworks were the best I have seen in the 8 years I have been attending Wickerman. Insufficient toilets in the disabled camping area and a lack of beer products in the Green Man Bar ( there was only lager and cider)

Very good, clean site, well organised. Could just do with a few more WC's in the luxury camping field. Family friendly.

It was a difficult year for the Wickerman but I'm so glad that it went ahead. There were only a couple of things I would say could have been better but I loved the new piano bar and great it was for Maggies, the circus tent was fab, the music fantastic and the atmosphere so friendly. The pints are a little pricey (got cheaper at glastonbury) but this didn't dampen our enjoyment at all. Can't wait to go again next year!

We enjoyed the festival as usual on the whole, however we weren't impressed by our camping area this year. We arrived at around 8pm on the Thursday night and were directed to the 'overflow area' for camping. This site had long, uncut grass and had animal waste everywhere. At night, there were no security guards overlooking this area and as a result, we didn't feel as safe and secure as we normally would.

Dance tent lineup was awful. having no reggae tent was a massive mistake and hopefully will be back next year. Line up on the main stage was the best yet.
